"I have always been a teacher, but my classroom has shifted over the years."
Jamie Riley’s story begins in the halls of public education, where she dedicated eight years as an Intervention Specialist. Working with students with identified disabilities, Jamie brought a compassionate and empathetic heart to every classroom she entered. While teaching was her comfort zone, her heart began to search for something deeper—something that would eventually lead her from structured schoolrooms to sacred yoga studios.
As a college athlete playing NCAA Division II volleyball, yoga initially appeared in Jamie’s life appeared in Jamie’s life as a post-practice relief ritual. At first, it was just another stretch session after the demanding physical schedule. But her relationship with yoga evolved slowly and subtly.
After college, Jamie’s body rebelled against traditional workouts. Her focus shifted from physical performance to holistic well-being. Yoga re-entered her life—this time not just as a physical outlet, but as a spiritual anchor.
The Catalyst: Covid and Conscious Awakening
Ironically, the global disruption of Covid became Jamie’s personal pivot. The closing of her local studio led her to Life Time Dublin, a new yoga space where discomfort led to growth. Her first classes felt foreign, even unsettling, but Jamie kept returning—week after week—until discomfort gave way to self-trust and internal alignment.
Within six months, a spontaneous yes to Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) changed everything. Guided by her mentor Andi, Jamie stepped onto a path of deeper purpose, one that would awaken a new side of her.
All In: Teaching, Mentorship, and Evolving Leadership
From nervously accepting every teaching opportunity, to being promoted and then invited to faculty leadership—Jamie’s journey accelerated in unexpected, extraordinary ways. Her "yes" to YTT became a defining moment of trust in her own intuition.
Alongside teaching, Jamie re-entered a new wave of training herself: completing 300 HR YTT, two faculty programs, and even guiding a new generation of yoga teachers in her very first co-led 200 HR YTT program with Andi. Her influence within the yoga community continues to expand, rooted in humility, vulnerability, and fierce love.
Rediscovering Self Through Stillness
Jamie shares that during one of her early meditations, the word “disconnect” surfaced through tears. She once believed it referred to others, but later realized it reflected her own internal fragmentation. Yoga has become her tool of reconnection—a space to feel, to pause, and most importantly, to breathe.
Today, she teaches not just postures, but the art of being: pausing, breathing, observing, and accepting. Her presence in any yoga room invites others to do the same.
My Message to You
If you are at the beginning of your healing journey, or somewhere in the middle, please know: You don’t need to have it all figured out.
Start small. Follow what lights you up—what brings peace to your breath and softness to your heart. Your intuition and longings are sacred messengers. Trust them.
You don’t need to be a yogi to explore yoga, or a musician to experience the magic of sound. These tools belong to all of us. And healing is not a destination—it is a relationship with yourself, one that you can nurture every single day.
My Mission
Today, my mission is simple and sacred: To help others reconnect to their own essence—through vibration, presence, and self-trust.
Whether through sound baths, movement, meditation, or stillness, I hope to offer a gentle reminder: You are your own melody. And that melody is more than enough.
It is abundance. It is healing. It is home.
